got the same Problems but no solution for it.

@zowrath: Wrong on the difficultysetting there m8, 0=Hard 1=Normal 2=Easy I just made three different profiles and that's the respective numbers that are set in the UFOOptions.txt file in the Profiles dir are: Hard: STRUCT "Game" KEY "difficulty" INT 0 KEY "game_length" INT 0 Normal: STRUCT "Game" KEY "difficulty" INT 1 KEY "game_length" INT 1 Easy: STRUCT "Game" KEY "difficulty" INT 2 KEY "game_length" INT 2 Z. guess thats only in the english version....in the German one the difficulty settings are like the description.

If you're alreade using the latest drivers for your Video Card, I've got no idea why it's not working proberbly. Have you tried to reinstall the game?

@systems: your Tactic sounds really good. I've just taken over 6 Bases and my weapons are not so powerfull so I've to go on carefully.

I don't like the magazine as well :hmmm: . But don't be afraid, the gamers which played the X-Com Games will buy this one an surely they will love it. All ohter Guys which played Fallout or for example jagged alliance will have a look on this game too. All of my friends (and I guess many ohters) don't look at reviews before buying a game. The first look is the deepest and if an Screen "fits to my thoughts" I'll buy the game. :o

I won't use cheats in such a good game even when I stuck in a situation. But thanks for them.

I guess discovering it all by yourself would be more interesting. :angel:

Just entered the 4th Base and so my weapons are not so powerfull. But for short distances I'm using the good old shotgun and for longer distances the Sniper riffle or the Colt M4.

I also use the default names. Guess I'm to lazy to rename them.

Every Guy in my team gets one or two Medpacs. Specially in the mission where you've to infiltrate a base. I think this they're good stuff and your team members wont be cannon fodder.
