People people people! Come on! Your opinions are...strange for me! After sooo loong time someone has manage to create a game that resembles X`COM 1 and all you can do is talk about how it sucks! If You fell you can do better then do it ok? I love the game altought I was also mad that I had to buy it before I see the demo - it would not change my desicion of buying it but it would be cool to see the game before it is released. It is bad that Altar were rushed and the game was not polished at 100% and they probably didn`t do a lot of beta-testing but can`t you simply enjoy it? It really si cool - I still am pissed about that *&%* globe running around continuosly when a message appears and I can`t stop it at first so I need really these patches but they aren`t patches for my Polish version yet but I still love the game ! I have some comments on how to improve UFO and I do know it is not perfect but I really am happy that someone finally created game similar to legendary UFO:EU ! Oh yeah by the way : I don`t really like the look of alien bases&ships too - someone was on LSD while creating them ?)) (joking) but the look of bases is cool. And as for technology tree I guess it is too simple because all you get to research is like: "improved armour for ships" instead of for example have various names of armours for ships to research but that is only my opinion. Overall : Game Kicks ASS and Thank You Altar for this extremaly GOOD game ! Waiting for sequel

Yes it IS the REAl Russian mission with gates and a lot of retikulans with blasters and stuff... I did the mission and checked that I don`t have the dreamland files researched because I can`t research them anymore! So i loaded the save after area 51 researeched them again and now I shuld be able to complete Russian base and get some more stuff to research

I just did the Russian base 1 mission and took the second after Area 51 APC but nothing happens When my men return to base I get to research alien launcher and ckm nothing else! Should I get sth else like how to keep aliens alive ??? Please help me. I don`t know how to keep aliens alive....

what about polish patch? Running UFO is very annoying: when I try to start it it often starts in 2 session so there are like two UFO`s running at a time - I have to exit both of them and run it again. There`s more: when i try to run it i get only black screen with sounds from menu nothing else. I have to restart my whole PC! But anyway beside of those two thingies game rocks! ;)

Um is this patch only for english version? I got it and I just tried to install it but he says that game is not installed and I must install th game in order to install the patch! The only problem is..the game is already installed! Any ideas?

What about paches for other versions like POlish ?

Yeah I cannot see why they stopped developing Genesis and Alliance ! I would love to buy them and play them! Are they stupid or what? This sucks maxx ! Where thank God for Altar and UFO:AM! At least someone finally did super cool game based on XCOM....

Well I must say thet we cannot compare Ufo:Enemy Unknown with UFO:Am. I have been playing UFO:Am for about 3 days now and must say it is excellent game indeed and very ... diferent from UFO:EU. If you do compare these two games than yes i agree that UFO:Am is much simpler and poorer then EU. But EU is a legend something that cannot be repeated I think just like Starcraft. I am astonished that no-one for so many years didn`t even try to build a game like X-Com until now. Anyways the game kicks as* and it is one of the best games I played ener ! Altar rocks ! I don`t even miss going into te buildings. The one thing that little bothers me is too poor management like I cannot produce 10 armours at one time and so on. This game is excellent and it should get 90-90% in all magazines !

Yeah I am Polish so I can read this article and I do not agree with them. Ufo:Am got only 70% ! They say it is a good game but is much poorer then Ufo:Enemy Unknown. They say that Polish translation sucks because marines usually shout! I completely don`t agree with that and the summory of gry-online is that it is a good game worth playing but... as they say : "It is good that Ufo:AM is but we still wait for our Messiah". Bullshit. I did not read entire review because it is too big and it sucks I got the game yesterday and I mus say IT IS EXTREMALY VERY VERY COOL!!! It should get 90-95 %! Ahh the music - it is superb! Man I LOVE the GAME !!! Just must think of some tactics against these damn mutants with guns...just started playing and since I don`t have the manufacture base I cannot produce any sniper ammo or rifles right? Or am I wrong? So I keep on using shotguns and granades but this is tricky and difficult...well I am playing "save and-if sth goes wrong-load" )) THIS GAME IS MOST EXCELLENT (I wrote to Martin my thanks for it). Keep Up the good job Altar and all you guys keeping this page and forum alive !

Hi! Dammit I read all the topics about bugs and stuff and I am beginning to think that UFO:AM should not have been released yet ... Maybe they should do some mooore beta testing before releasing buggy software? I know all software programs ahve many bugs... well maybe I am over reacting but i am beginning to be afraid if i won`t have problems with installing the game etc etc.....

I am thinking that ...when I will get the game maybe i`ll start playing on very difficult setting so i can enjoy the game for maaaany weeks If I won`t ber able to play I`ll just start on normal Anyway so I got far less ram than you but hopefully it will run smoothly with all high-coool-stuuff-graphics on ? Really I don`t see the problem. The game is NOT wasted just because someone can`t play in higher resolution. I agree that it was STUPID choice to implement only one resolution but that`s the way it is. I am only afraid will it run properly, have nice graphics and will be very addictive on my : Athlon 2000 XP+ (1,67 Ghz) 256 DDr 333 mhz GF 4 64 MB DDR What do you think? 1. Will the game run properly without slow-ups ? 2. IS the game as addictive as X-Com? It is quite expensive for me so I don`t want a game that i can walk through in just few days! For example: I bought Neverwinter Nights and must say it is very very veeery looong game for few weeks maybe months (for me) so i was not dissapointed and i still haven`t finished the game What do you think about it?
