  1. Hi, I just put up Silent Storm at Speedrun.com, http://www.speedrun.com/silent_storm If anyone's got a playthrough of either Silent Storm, Sentinels or Hammer & Sickle and you want to share it then you can upload it to the site. Speedrunning means finishing a game as fast as possible, so if you manage to get the fastest time you will be ranked 1st, but you will have to beat me It would be cool to see how some of you guys play the game so come and show your skills! http://www.speedrun.com/silent_storm PS: If you're the first to upload a complete run for one of the games then you will automatically hold the world record for that game, even if it took you 40 hours!
  2. In Silent Storm the command is like this: open_zone <zone name> for example, to open the GLab zone you would enter this: open_zone GLab This will reveal the zone on the campaign map, so you will have to move to it and enter it like in a regular campaign. This means you have to already be playing a campaign to use the command. Most of the time you will have to enter a "region" such as North England or Urals or any other and then exit it again to be able to see the new zone. Here is the full list of singleplayer campaign zones that you can open ALLIES CAMPAIGN: EFirst Base ECct EFCom EFLab EFStore EFVip EHid EMis ETStore ETwn EVlg FFight GCct GECom GEFact GELab GEStore GEVip GTFact GTVip GTwn RFCom RFFact RTLab AXIS CAMPAIGN: GFirst Base ELab ECom EVip ETStore GTwn GStore GFact GLab GCom GVip GTVip RCom RFact GTFact RTLab FFight EHid3 EHid2 EHid1 ECct EVlg ETwn EStore
  3. Hi I would like to point out that the downloadable map editor which is hosted here at StrategyCore is missing the "tools" folder. This folder is supposed to contain executables which allow the map editor to compile and save changes to the game. For example if you have the GOG version and you downloaded the map editor from here you still wouldn't be able to mod anything, you could only view the files and tables. Here is the tools folder, copy it into your game's main directory and you will be able to compile with mapedit http://www55.zippyshare.com/v/34096074/file.html I think this whould either be added to the hosted map editor here or it should be added to the downloads section
  4. I've noticed that dragon didn't specify which version of ms-sqlserver you need. I recommend MSDE2000, it's a small free version of ms-sqlserver (only 50 mb) that will give you access to the map editor. Google MSDE2000 and download it from the Microsoft website. Once you have unpacked the download, edit the setup.ini file so that it looks like this: [Options] BLANKSAPWD=1 SECURITYMODE=SQL Save the file and run setup.exe. When it's finished installing restart your PC and the map editor should work.
