Plasma Clips

I was just wondering, when are plasma clips available for purchase? I found a couple plasma guns from a raid, but only one spare clip... Also, where is a good place to raid to get plasma clips and/or psiclones early in the game?

It's available starting from 2nd or 3th week, don't recall now.

 

Raid the manufacturer (Megapol or Marsec, don't recall now) for it, but as it's a big one I don't recommend raiding it....

 

You can always raid CoS or the gangs for psiclone.

Megapol manufacture the plasma guns, but you can find plasma guns and clips lying about in any building you attack, regardless of organisation. Besides, it's best not to anger the cops.

 

A hostile organisation, a gang like Pskye or Osiron and even the Cult make good plas-gun suppliers. Usually you have to win them off your enemies, but since they're almost as powerful and accurate as the disrupter gun, they're well worth the effort.

 

The actual number of guns and clips that you find in raids is random, so you'll have to be a little persistent.

i find that sometimes its not worth the effort. i'm in my first week, i've bought all the gun clips i vould buy and i'm still running out.

THe easy way to get psiclones are to raid psyke.

Hmm, I never knew you could get psiclones.

So how good are they? The ufopedia says it can see things, just by imagining them which doesn't give much info about the psi increase and the good things for x-com agents.

i'm pretty sure theres a topic about that some where here....but anyway, it does nothing except give you money when you sell it. you can not use it in anyway, boost your agent's stats, nada. all you can do is sell it. its just like a drug i guess. there have been claims that when you sell psiclone, Megapol goes hostile, but that is yet to be tested and aproved. most people don't think thats true.
