Tryst

BlueGiant Interactive brings us word of Tryst. These passionate Hyderabad-based developers are bent on creating a riveting competitive real-time strategy experience with this recently announced latest creation of theirs.

(...) we're looking at a giant step forward here, folks! This basically means that we're aiming to make Tryst feel fast paced, offer a lot of choice and have enough to offer a broad spectrum of play-styles a variety of meaningful choices. Adding to that, we want to create more reactive maps where you not only need to know your enemy but also watch your step because the environment isn't always in the friendliest of moods.

Basically, we want Tryst to scratch that competitive streak in all of us and yet be just as fun for those of us that don't really play RTS's.

As for the setting, it's "set in the distant future where humans find themselves at war with a mechanical alien race known as the Zali."

Features:

1. Unique Character Abilities and Upgrades – Almost all our battle units come with special abilities of their own. It's up to the player to choose what they want and how they want to match the powers of one with that of another.

2. Multiplayer – Up to 8 player free for all maps that always promise to keep people reinventing new strategies to outdo their opponents.

3. Environmental Hazards – Maps are filled with dangers that can both hinder a player or help him set up the perfect ambush against an enemy.

4. Keep on Going – You don't have to worry about players who go offline or have to leave in the middle of a game. They’ll be replaced with competent AI immediately.

5. Unigine Graphics Engine – State-of-the-art visuals powered by UNIGINE engine and race specific UI, etc...

No release date has yet been set, but it is known that the game has been in development for more than a year now, which, coupled with the fresh launch of the site dedicated to the title, should mean the wait for it might not be overlong.
