Brain Candy's Fray should be no novelty to our visitors as we've been closely following the developments of this futuristic multiplayer simultaneous turn-based strategy offering focused on squad tactics.
The game has reached Alpha build just a handful of days back and pre-ordering will grant immediate access to it, but for those of you still not quite ready to take the plunge, the above Gamers Nexus video preview and the extensive old-fashioned textual preview should help you form a fuller picture of what you'll be immersing yourself in with this "combat module cyber-environment".
Us poor Windows XP 32 bit-ers are excluded for now! But that's a good response, posting it up, some nice clear communication is what you want from a dev team.

It's doing some interesting stuff with the turn-based formula:
Quote
Give each member of your squad orders during the definition phase: have them shoot, move, deploy equipment, use personal bonuses or one of the powerful team bonuses. Finish the turn quickly and you gain an initiative bonus but risk misjudging the situation, or take more time to analyse the situation, which means you lose the initiative, but be quick: the clock is ticking and the phase ends automatically after a set time.
