Thorondor Posted April 20, 2018 Report Share Posted April 20, 2018 POLICE DASHCAM VIDEO HAS BEEN RELEASED SHOWING A DEVASTATING HOME EXPLOSION IN TEXAS EARLIER THIS MONTH. THE BLAST OCCURRED AFTER AUTHORITIES SAY A DRIVER SLAMMED INTO A GAS LINE AFTER HIS BRAKES FAILED. GAS APPARENTLY BUILT UP IN THE HOME AND THEN IGNITED AND EXPLODED... SENDING OFFICERS OUTSIDE SCRAMBLING FOR COVER. THREE PEOPLE INSIDE THE HOME WERE INJURED, ONE OF THEM CRITICALLY, BUT THEY ARE EXPECTED TO RECOVER. POLICE ARRESTED THE DRIVER ON A CHARGE OF NOT HAVING A DRIVER'S LICENSE. TWO OFFICERS SUFFERED MINOR INJURIES. :: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But you don't need to have a license to buy a car. Well, dealerships will ask for a license before selling a car to you, but if you buy a car from a private individual there is no such check. Once you have a car (either from legitimately buying one or heck even stealing one) then you can drive it. And nobody will question that until you get into an accident or get stopped by the police. No license at that time will throw up red flags. Also note that not having a license is not the same as not having a legal drivers license. An example of an illegal drivers license is one that is expired. That sometimes happens if the department of motor vehicles forgets to send the renewal form, you lose it or forget to renew. So the video could be one of those cases, but they don't specifically state why the driver didn't have a legal license. Zombie Posted June 3, 2018 Report Share Posted June 3, 2018 I never did care very much for CrazyRussianHacker's MRE "reviews". He eats like an animal (gross) and is hard to understand. (Did like his hacking videos but those seem to have disappeared). With that said, I've been watching MRE reviews for years now. Some of my favorite channels are gschultz9, Oldsmokey, Kiwi Dude, Steve1989MREInfo (probably my favorite as of late as he reviews a ton of strange MREs), and to a lesser extent Bob808Knight (not much in terms of military MREs, he does more civilian MREs like MountainHouse or homemade recipes for camping/bushcraft/hiking etc). I agree on this Russian hacker, he does eat like an animal - and he did stop making interesting vids long ago. Usually I skip them (and will probably get him off my subscription list) but this one got my attention. Thanks for the vids, seems that the content is not completely the same. I like how the guy going into the shop was going to be kind and hold the door open for the woman following behind, but when he saw the truck coming straight at him, he pulled the door closed trapping the woman outside. Its like joke about bear attacks: "You don't have to be quicker than the bear, just quicker than the slowest person in your group." He was not trying to keep her out but the car. There was no time to think about being nice. Though I'm not even sure he's actively closing the door.
