I didn't know there is no "ground floor" in US... Anybody from US care to confirm this?

Depends on the building really. Houses, apartment buildings and certain multi-level buildings almost never have a "ground floor" - the numbering starts at 1 (first floor) for street level and goes up accordingly. However, very large buildings, tall buildings (with commercial tenants), hotels and skyscrapers almost always have the street level named ground floor (not always though, sometimes it's one level below street). They might also have a mezzanine and a multi-level basement (indicated by L1, L2 etc) which house the mechanicals of the building (+ the traditional maintenance/custodial services) and a possibly a parking garage. wink.png

This oddball and inconsistent numbering scheme is very confusing when you to need to get out of a building... did I enter on the ground floor, the first floor or a lower level? You can't tell unless the building owners have a large overhead sign on each level near the elevators or if you are very observant and take note of the smallish tag on the entrance to the elevator. sleep.png

Here's all the breakfasts in video format (which originally came from BuzzFeedYellows YouTube channel).

And before anyone asks, No, the breakfasts here are not representative of everyone in a country. There are big variations which depend on region and personal tastes. Especially here in the US which is one big melting pot of people. ;)
