I've also made a movie but unfortunetally I would need SSD disc to keep the desired framerate. I will see how it will look after I will compress it and upload to youtube. A Thorondor type Fleet finishes bombarding Morrigi planet. This is the perspective view from the SFS Thorondor The Great Mk2 Leviathan class ship. In front you can see SFS Super Thorondor War class Dreadnoughts and SFS Thorondor Mk 4. War class Cruisers. A side view of SFS Super Veki Support Class Dreadnought. Very essential for any invading fleets. A closeup on "Nurse Jenny" on SFS Thorondor class Cruiser. SFS Super Veki from different angle. Now you can see how long it should take for you to begin research salvaged tech Edit: The movie after compression plays fine. I probably will upload 2 or 3 more final videos of more offensive driven fleets. Though strangely recording keept in 30 FPS but I think it is thanks to Sony Vegas, because while I was recording fraps showed 15-18 FPS most of the time. If I had SSD this probably wouldn't been an issue. The above uncompressed video sized at 15GB while after Sony Vegas render it went down to 2GB ( an hour of upload on my net). silencer_pl Posted August 2, 2012 Report Share Posted August 2, 2012 To be more precise Chakkram - I failed a good roll on feasibility on AM Heavy Cannon and Neutron Beam. And AM Cannon is weaker comparing to them I think at least in armor penetration. And if you wonder how much for Leviathan - 110 millions for prototype with improved prototyping - 89 million for the next one with the techs I am applying. To compare a Dreadnought with same technology costs up to 20 millions and Cruiser 10 millions. Leviathans have battle raiders slots and there are two type of Leviathans - this one is the normal one that has 2 battle hangars for total of 12 battle raiders and 4 slots of 8 battle raiders backups. So if you add battle raiders the price of fully equipped leviathan goes up to 120-130 millions (for prototype). The second one is a bit cheaper carries less guns and can't have adamantine alloys (for humans anyway) but carries more battle raider slots - 6 and 6 backups. Space Voyager class fleet consist of: SFS Amazing Space Voyager - Carrier Class Leviathan.SFS Super Space Voyager - Carrier Class Dreadnoughts - 3 shipsSFS Space Voyager - Carrier Class Cruisers - 6 ships. All of those carry payload of SFS Pete Type I (Interceptor), Type E (escort), Type H (Heavy "aka Spinal Mount"), Type P Mk2 (Patrol - I forgot armor for engine part so it's Mk2), Type T (Torpedo) and Type S (Scout) Battle Raiders. LV carries 36 battle ready BR's, DN's carry 9 battle ready BR's and CR's carry 3 battle ready BR's so that is a hell lot of Pete's. And the cloud of battleriders SV fleet throws at the enemy is a sight to see, too! Can you please explain this accelerated time mechanic? Is it just simple fast forward to pass the time or is there any other consequence to it? I know I read something about the connection between the length of the turn and accelerated time but I never quite understood what was really supposed to happen. The problem with this is that visuals on scanners are updated too slow meaning that sometimes you don't see everything in Real Time but I think this is question of better optimization. Wrath of Thorondor - a fleet consisting of: Thorndor the Greate - Leviathan armed to teeth with high end energy guns like - Pulsed Grav Beams, Cutting Beams, Enveloping Antimatter torpedoes, cutting beams - plenty of armour and structural reinforcments.Super Thornodor Type P - Projector Type Dreadnought with Meson Projectors as main weapon.Super Thorondor Type W - War Type DreadnoughtSuper Thorondor Type B - Barrage Type Dreadnought - barrage section contains Enveloping AM Torpedoes, Cutting beams, IOBM's that spit heavy laser beam. Super Veki - Support Type Dreadnought for supplies and repairs.Sgt. Strike x3 - Assault Shuttle Carriers for planetary assault. This fleet pack a quite punch and is very tough. The projector type has some graphical issues. I have reported them on Kerberos forums. Second fleet - Eye of Space Voyager - really hard to name a fleet after you SV. Anything comes easy with Thorndor - but for you extra brain power must be used This fleet consist of: Amazing Space Voyager - Carrier class Leviathan - comparing to Human LV this one has 2 more slots for BR's but 2 less slots for reserves.Super Space Voyager x2- Dreadnought class carrier - same payload as human one.Super Veki x2 - Dreadnought class Support - with so many BR's additional repair station is a good option.Sgt Strike x5 - Cruiser class Assault Shuttle carrier for planetary invasions.Gravship - Dreadnought class Gravboat - Morrigi special ship that speeds up flight time between systems and slows enemy down during battles.
