Adam Solo (need I say more?!) definitely took a great deal of time and nerves to go through all the details, kudos to him. I remember how I was forced to read the manual when jumping into SotS1, too. And many many things were left unanswered even so. Perhaps I would have been more bothered by that if the space strategy genre was more in shape at the time. It turned out very profitable in the end, though. Seeing such in-depth review with largely negative conclusions is painful for a hardcore SotS fan, but I guess this is where SotS2 is at. Personally I would thank Adam for seeing the high potential (at least I read the review in this way) and hope for the future. Thanks for posting, Thor.
