Do you know this SCI-FI telefilm? I was so addicted to him!

The SHADO is quite like an XCOM organization.

Does some games on that series exists?
Some of you heard something?

A STRATEGIC xcom-style game with SHADO will be quite good imho!

I loved that old show. It's very worth watching, and very stylish view of the future through 1960s eyes. It was also an inspiration for X-Com as well.

Probably can't, it's not very well known. I got it through netflix, though.

It was by the makers of space 1999 but it was much better. By the last few episodes it was just starting to get really good then it got canceled. You can see the influence in how the aliens worked. Don't want to spoil anything but there's a kind of mindblowing twist halfway in.

Shockingly mindblowing indeed! I just wish X-Com had the vehicle budget SHADO has.

For those wanting a physical copy, you can get the R1 DVD complete set from Amazon:

Or look up your local Amazon for DVDs in your preferred region coding.
