It's about fighting against incredible odds and coming out on top. That's what happens when you land on a planet with 5 marines and blow the heck out of 10000 aliens.Rocket Bear Games' indie real-time strategy proposition Infested Planet puts you in the difficult situation of having to squish filthy, ugly, ever-mutating aliens. The challenge changes as the enemy evolves differently each game. It doesn't suffice to make the best of your resources, or just pick the right research - you have to go with the flow, relocate when necessary, or hunker down and construct perimeter defenses to then bring on the pain. What to expect in terms of content: In this expansion, players will get new commander powers, face fearsome alien enemies and take on the new Ironman Leaderboard. The expansion adds a whole new class of player abilities to the game. Players can change the course of battle by throwing down cluster bombs, calling in airdrops and freezing the enemy with stasis fields. Not to be left behind, the aliens have a new bag of tricks as well. With the addition of Ironman mode, the players will face new challenges, such as the hive crawler.
