In fairness it could be a really great game, but it'll never be even barely acceptable as an X-Com game. I think at this point they just want to make a point and revel in the free publicity we're giving them. I'd suggest a product boycott but I'm actually eager to get my hands on a copy in a perverse way, just to see if our complaining is justified!
