First I'm glad i started playing Aftermath even though i completed Afterlight. Wow its a very different game lots of terrian and use of cover. Feels like an xcom terror mission

My questions

2 part missions: lost loot?

it 2 part missions such as capturing a new human base.

If you don't collect the enemy loot from the bodies does this get lost

Or is it included once you complete the second part

I was not sure so i grabbed the loot on the first mission section then dropped it upon entering the second part

If the loot is saved i was considering taking some assault and sniper rifles to clear the outside of the base and then dropping then before going into the second part.

Does anything bad happen or do i just automatically recover my weapons

this may have been asked else where but the phrasing made it hard to search for

also had a quick question regarding a good ratio of base types

still pretty early in the game

I currently have 3

1 military 1 development and 1 base i'm converting to science research and i'm about to get my 4th base

The seems to be a ton of research needed, ufos a hard to shoot down down so i need military but i will need some production for all the guns and armour

I'm in europe playing on easy with the combo patch on if that changes things

So what do the members find to be a good ratio

Lost, as in Aftershock. You have to collect from the 1st mission.

Those poor plane fighters are upgraded by research.

Don't remember.
