I'm being told that it's a memory issue - that we're hitting the limit of our hosting package, but I'm not convinced that's the problem so I'm working with the hosts to track down the cause. You don't get a lot with most hosting packages, less than a gig, but you don't generally need a lot unless you're encoding videos on the website or your forums or other database-heavy apps are getting absolutely hammered. Pete Posted August 21, 2010 Author Report Share Posted August 21, 2010 Before the three yesterday there had been a few, but the hosts' monitoring software usually picks it up in a matter of minutes and it's sorted so we no longer have the very long outages of the previous hosts.
