So with ALL the possible bases under my control, I tried to reclaim earth from the biomass... and after several game months of anti-bio mass bases operating in key areas there were 4 spots of biomass that never seemed to go away. No matter how many times you got a bio node mission in that area. 1. North of Hawaii and South of Alaska... 2. West side of Africa... in the Congo region. 3. Antarctica. Had several bio node missions, never went away. 4. Northern side of South America thoughts? is this game design? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Kret Posted December 6, 2009 Report Share Posted December 6, 2009 Yes, some areas are not possible to completely clear once the biomass reaches them. The anti-biomass bases have a limited range making it particullary diffucult to clear areas were bases are furthest appart. The nodes only initiate and boost the growth of the biomass within a small radius, but it can perfectly keep on growing without nodes. I do believe it's possible to clear the biomass completely, but you need to be lucky on the placement of the nodes, discovering the first node and getting a mission on the biomass early enough to act in time.
