Hello there!

I would like to bring attention to a 'little' project I have been working on since May this year. It's called X-Commandos, and it's an X-Com inspired top-down turn-based strategy game for iPhone. Below are some screenshots and a few short movies that show a small bit of gameplay. The full game will feature plenty of missions, lots of weapons and body implants, research tree, etc. etc. I expect it to be ready at the end of Q1 2010, but we all know how deadlines work. ;)

Game looks interesting but... isn't ripping off Aliens for the rifle name (M41A Pulse Rifle) a bit shameless? ;)

Hmmz, let's say there may be more references to scifi movies and/or games. ;) Of course, if it's too obvious or too much, I can always change it. :)

I've setup a development blog over here: http://x-commandos.com/blog/

It contains several new screenshots as well as more background information.

Feedback, good or bad, is appreciated.

I think it will be done early Fall this year. AI still needs some work and lots of content to be created. All is progressing well though, I don't see any showstoppers at this moment.
