Cannot install Silent Storm Sentinels

Hi there,

 

i'm from Italy, so.. sorry for my broken english.

Then, when i try to install S3 a pop up message says "Silent Storm is not installed or improperly installed" and "Sentinels cannot be installed".

Now, i got S2 original installed, i think EU version (my box is written in italian but sw is english), and i really don't know what to do with this issue.

Perhaps, S2 and S3 being different versions is causing that ?(provided they are indeed different)

 

Initially I had a US version of S2 (2 S2 disks).

Later after I purchased SSGold (a UK version 2 S2 disks + 1 S3 disk) I tried to install only the S3 on top of what I already had and I believe I experienced the same problem. Completely removing the US version and installing the UK one from scratch - solved it.

Besides I like the UK version better. It has exploding heads, which the US release lacked.

 

Just an idea as you asked.

mmm... thank you Sarge... Effectively, in a readme txt on S3 it says "only for UK version"..

then my problem now is: Silent Storm (2, 3, Gold and so on) is out of production, out of everything........ ......... ...........

I'm afraid it's a little harder. Anyway, thank you so much!!
