lingmiester Posted October 25, 2004 Report Share Posted October 25, 2004 Formally being in the army myself, i've always wondered X-com does not have an option for a prone position, ie lying on the chest propped on the elbows. To me thats the most accurate firing position. It would be cool for such a pose for those using sniper tactics. A prone trooper on a roof top would be really hard to hit with direct fire. If the aliens could just lay out in one of those wheat fields and snipe you from out of sight, it would really add depth to the tactical part of the game.
