BuriBuriZaemon Posted February 1, 2009 Report Share Posted February 1, 2009 Hi peeps, I'm trying to run Ufogold (X-COM: UFO Defense Gold Edition) on XP. Everything runs fine except that in combat, the scroll speed is too fast making it unplayable. I tried everything to solve this:1. Using Turbo and SloMo: No effect2. Setting down the scroll speed to 1: Nadda3. Disabling DirectDraw: Nay4. Running in compatiblity mode: Nope I've tried searching the forum and goggling but hasn't any solution yet. FYI, I'm using xcomutil with f0dder's patch (not using them results the same). I played this game a year ago on the same laptop with the same exact specs with the very same game files without a problem! If you search around, there's a way to have it done automatically, as opposed to having to do it every time.
