As far as I can read there is no solution, however there is a reply to that topic saying there is a solution to my problem which goes unrevealed ... Can anyone help a fool in love with an old game? Seriously though, the only solution is to use cheats. I don't remember the cheat anymore, but there is some cheat which will allow you to destroy the probe.
