Do you have an option like that where you live?

Sure we go to normal computer shops, buy exact stuff and either assemble computer ourselves or through shop service.

I don't think laptops are all that flexible as far as buying components go. Right?

The problem with laptops for games is that they are twice the expensive to the amount of power. Generally the strongest laptop for game has computing power of normal PC for twice less.

Exactly. So in a sense what happens is you give up power for mobility. lol I guess it could be compared to a tank. A.) tank has strong armor, powerful weapons but slow. Where B.) tank has light armor, moderate weapons but fast. Posted Image

There are some very powerful laptops out there, the price on the other hand is very steep. Also, laptops can be stolen pretty easy. Whatever you decide Space, here is a link you can use to get an idea of different specs that can help you to determine what kind of pc you'll get.

Right now, I'm having quite a battle within... I have a friend who advises me strongly NOT to go into comps under 2k€ as they will not last me long enough with satisfying gaming ease of use at demanding work applications, such as Excel. :D

So, a bit higher input should last me a lot longer, but going over 2k€ is a bit hard for me and would take some money hamstering.

Worst part is that he got me convinced enough to think about two solutions only - save up some more and go for a great comp at say 2,5k€ or nothing at all. To boot, going for a good comp would definitely postpone the "Reconstruction" thread update.

It definitely has power, where I had like 40 FPS in XCOM2 and Witcher 3, now I'm oscillating between 80-100.
