thats not bad! but i care to argue about the basic and basic armored suit. also the transport suit but it's not as important because it's a planetology research.

the basic suits are white for a reason, they are from before we were attacked.

the basic armor suits just have kevlar strapped on.

and the transport suit... well it's just a bigger bag strapped on the basic suit but it's possible to assume it's been colored. since it's a planetology research.

nonetheless it's a great mod!

Nope :D In real life ANY colonisation expedition (or simply expedition) have at least one military trained unit.
This MARPAT suits were stored just on a case of tactical interactions on the Mars surface and after first enemy encounters all personnel was equipped with this ones. :)

ps: But if developers have found time to make a skin for each model instead of one for three, it not should to compose a legend about MARPAT suits origin  :D

yeah i think you need to look over the storyline.

Reticulans give Mars to Humans.

Humans pack their space suits and head to Mars

Reticulans help Humans build base on Mars.

Humans start terraformation project using normal space suits

Robots attack out of nowhere.

Humans start preparing for war.

That's where we all start the game.

again i say, this mod is nice. i just pointed out a little thingy. don't take it personally. i never intended to offend you.

what's the deal with the scales on med armor and chain-mail pants on basic armor?

"Oh look I'm a big scary earth colored snake pants black visor dude! PH33R MY GR34TN35"

lol i can just imagine Diego saying that :D

Oh, I don't know... This colour scheme kind of ruins the general colour theme of the game, namely blue and red. Your suits look nice and realistic, but I'll stick to the original ones, because they're simply more consistent with the rest of the graphics.
(Looks like I'm criticizing every mod I can find here... I really don't intend to, I love modding! I'm just very strict :D)
Look at you hacker...

How can you challenge a perfect immortal machine?

the chainmail is the battle suit pants.

thats how you called it.

and adv battle armor has snake pants.

those scales are a bit out of place. they add depth which aids in distinguishing it from the eviroment.

i'd prefer it without those scales and without the chainmail, but thats just me.
