Demo problem

Just downloaded the AM demo and the entire screen blinks pretty fast. I have a sempron 2600 with 64 meg onboard ram and xp pro. Any idea what the problem is?

You have to lower the refresh rate most likely. Check this topic.

I checked your link and didn't quite understand it. At any rate, I just got a new computer system and my monitor only has a refresh rate of 60.

 

I put the demo on my wife's computer and it worked fine, no blinking. I suspect the problem is the video. She has a geforce 2 with 32 meg ram. I have the onboard video and it might not be all that compatible. Anyway, yesterday I ordered a geforce fx 5500 with 256 meg ram from Tiger. When it gets here I'll try the demo again. I suspect It'll work and I'll like it and I'll order it. If there's another problem I'll write again. Thanks for your quick reply on a holiday.
