SQUAD TACTICS

As I previously started a post the other day on base management ect,now I want to get started on squad tactics and management,and how some of YOU utilise your squad members in your game,and from what inspirations you may have got your tactics from,and more importantly,do they WORK in this game?

 

As far as squad purposes go,these are my future plans...so far. :(

 

SQUAD A: All purpose "Marine" squad,for engaging mutants and rebellious Human factions early on.

 

SQUAD B: Heavy Cyborg Division,for engaging hostile Cyborg factions that hold onto territory,and to also engage the vicious Cultists too.

 

SQUAD C: Elite Commando unit(SAS style),for conducting rescue/escort and night missions.I think they will be great in the long run for this. :(

 

I am not too sure about SQUADS D and E,but maybe another marine detatchment for extra expansion speed early on?,or a dedicated Psionics Division,for carrying out alien containment missions,or other top secret missions as the game progresses.I would really like a sort of "Space Marine" detachment too,who could be used for any future space missions,they would have the most advanced weapons and protection systems yet available!.

 

I really love learning about small squad,and military tactics in general,and this game is GREAT so far.

These are just my own preferences and future plans,but now I want to see some of yours. :(

 

Hostile aliens and small squad tactics are what make this world a good place to live in,hahhaha!Long live the Reticulans! where would we be without them? :)
