As the S2 manual says, both Spot and Engineering helps detect mines/booby traps. So in practice engineer is usually best because his engineering+spot total is higher than the others'. It's weird but my main (sniper) is the best in spot skill (114) and his engineering skill is 28 and he is encountering always all traps/mines instead of my enginer (spot-81 engineering-59) and other members, I have all clases in my team. I am now in mission in factory with production line fot panzerkleins, in this mission there is many trapped dors and only my sniper see them all and others dont eaven if they are in front of a dors It's a little bit stupid that sniper is better in recognizing explosives than enginer lol but enginer is the best for disarming traps/mines Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
