If Al Qaeda thought that they would acheive anything by this attack, they will learn that they were wrong.

Many British people, including myself, disagree with Blair's decision to support the invasion of Iraq. This is because we are sceptical of the link between Saddam Hussein and Al Qaeda, and it is not a sign of an unwillingness to oppose terrorism.

I have no doubt that many people were killed or wounded today, but we have been through this sort of thing before, and we got through it. The IRA and the Libyans have launched terrorist attacks against the British people in a failed attempt to intimidate us. Nazi Germany reduced many of our cities to rubble, but we continued that fight.

The British people, including the two million British Muslims are well aware that although bin Laden talks about suicide bombers being praiseworthy, he is remarkably unwilling to lead by example. He is too busy hiding in a cave plugged into his dialysis machine and his favourite goat.
