Can some one help, i have gotten my english copy of silent storm from ebay so i uninstalled the Russian version and have installed it, the installation wizard didn't give me the choose of where to install the program but instead installed it straight into C/windows. no matter what i do it always does this and when i try to run the game it shows the error

"The Binkw32.dll file is installed in the windows or windows system directory - it must be installed in the applications directory"

can anyone help??

Slaughter was asking what options you get when you are installing the game. Do you get a dialog asking where to install it? You should have a dialog that says something like "Silent Storm will be installed to C:\Program Files\Nival Interactive\Silent Storm" and there should be a "Browse" button next to that. When pressed, the Browse button will let you choose where to install the game.

You need to give us more information about the install process. That is where the problem is, it sounds like. Tell us more about why you can't install in a custom directory...

Don't give up! This game rocks! It's worth it!

You're so welcome! I'm glad I could help, and I'm glad you're enjoying the game.

What is registryfix? Try linking to a program the next time you mention it. Click on the button above the reply box that says https:// and enter the url for the site, then put in the words you want to be the hyperlink. Easy! Did you mean this: https://www.registryfix.com/?
