Hehe

@Pete: Well, there are other things that's at least as important. So if you can't figure it out in a reasonable time, leave it be.

Sorted. Poll now appearing correctly on front page.

Guests can't vote in forum polls anyway, so guests just get the results shown to them with a link to view comments (in an effort to get them to join in) and a link to view the polling archive (this forum).

Logged in members who haven't voted get the options with a choice of either Vote (to... errr... cast a vote) and Null Vote (which forfeits their vote as it does when voting in the forums here so that they can view the results - reason for this is if they've seen the results before voting, their vote is biased).

Anywho, after a lot of effort, it works fine ;)

I have :)

It was tough between Apoc and Silent Storm, but Apoc has aliens and teleporters and personal shield units. Apoc quite frankly rules ;)

I give my vote for S3 (even the campaing is too hardstyle for me). Learning to mod helps a lot to like the game and after S^Smoddingskills I might do games like those others in that list ;) and I also try to make mods like honorary mentions to old turnbased games (Paybacktime, JA, Fallout...).

...it's my turn now...

I played all the x-com games..

I must admit the 2 last games sucked rather hard... (interceptor and enforcer

Voted UFO:EU but i love apoc too..

Apoc had a thing that really got me hooked... (realtime combat)
See, I've traveled the galaxy, and they sell guns out there that would amaze and astound you.
Of course,by "amaze" I mean "maim" and by "astound" I mean "render you indistinguishalbe from the ground you were standing on"

Sorry guys, but I voted other.
I was totally overwhelmed by JA2 when I finally got into it and learned the mechanics. More or less blew 2 weeks vacation on it ;)
But I haven't played the X-Coms so I might change my mind. :)

Hehe, guess we should have included JA2 there as well. But we decided to include the games we cover, and just put in a "Other" category for the rest. Anyway, JA2 surely is a good game! ;)
