Fish Fillets:

This is the first game that ALTAR interactive made. I'll just quote the description:

Fish Fillets is strictly a puzzle game. The goal in each of the seventy levels is always the same: find a safe way out. The fish utter witty remarks about their surroundings, the various inhabitants of their underwater realm, quarrel among themselves or comment on the efforts of your fish.

Hidden & Dangerous:

The player can control any of 4 commando members from several different 3D views and, at the same time, program tasks for the rest of the team on a tactical map. Carefully edge your way through enemy territory, hoping you aren't detected by enemy German soldiers en route. In order to survive, you need to inch your way forward, keeping out of sight, using binoculars or a sniper scope to make sure the coast is clear.

    * 23 graphically unique missions, set in France, Norway, Yugoslavia and Prague

    * Historically exact weapons, vehicles and uniforms

    * Fast, detailed engine produces amazingly accurate varied worlds, e.g. factories, dams, swamps, underground caverns, fields and rivers

    * Artificial intelligence - the characters display an excellent amount of intelligence. Characters will display different emotions and act accordingly in situations, they will not be purely clones of each other.

ScummVM:

In short ScummVM is an application for running the old Lucas Arts adventure games and a few others on any OS. And it comes with two free adventure games that are both very good. Here's a quote:

What games does ScummVM support?

We have a compatibility list on our website that contains an up to date list of what games work, and how well they work. As well as SCUMM games, we also include virtual machines for the first two Simon the Sorcerer games (by Adventure Soft), Broken Sword 1/2 and Beneath a Steel Sky (by Revolution), as well as Flight of the Amazon Queen. Other games may be added, but this is not a common occurrence - see below.

Steel Panthers: World at War:

What is SPWaW?

Steel Panthers: World at War is a tactical level, World War II era, historical wargame. This is a very highly refined version of Steel Panthers III, placed in the Steel Panthers I game scale. We used Steel Panthers III since it was the most stable version of the game engine yet created. The original game series was designed by Gary Grigsby, Keith Brors and Joel Billings. SP:WaW is a hex based, top down view, alternating turn ("I go, you go" or IGOUGO) game design. SP:WaW also includes a timed play feature, giving each player a specific amount of time to conduct his turn before it ends and his opponent's turn begins. Armor, gun and vehicle units are represented by individual icons. Each infantry squad can have up to 25 men in it. Machine guns, mortars and artillery units are also realisticaly portrayed and crewed. Each hex represents 50 yards (meters) of the virtual battlefield, with many new terrain features added. Each game turn represents a few minutes of real time, and games can last from a few turns to entire campaigns.

Wild Metal:

We proudly bring you this second installment in our series of complimentary full PC game downloads. Another vintage title from Rockstar North, then known as DMA Design, Wild Metal (1999) is a 3D strategic vehicular combat game set in a distant land, in which you command armed roving vehicles to disrupt dangerous automated military units that have overtaken the Tehric planetary system. While it flew under the mainstream radar when it was originally released, it was critically acclaimed for its unique yet intuitive control schemes and its massive open world to explore. We do hope you enjoy it.

Grand Theft Auto:

In 1997, a band of developers that would come to be known as Rockstar North and Rockstar Games released the original Grand Theft Auto on an unsuspecting public. The groundbreaking non-linear urban crime game shook up a complacent game industry with its irreverent gameplay, humor and style- and a phenomenon was born.

Grand Theft Auto 2:

In 1999, Rockstar Games and Rockstar North (then known as DMA Design) furthered the groundbreaking gameplay concepts established just two years prior in the original Grand Theft Auto - with the release of GTA2. GTA2 expanded on the top-down, open-ended crime world gameplay formula with a host of new features including the advent of multiple rival gangs - seven, to be exact, including the Yakuza, Scientists, Looneys, Rednecks, Zaibatsu, the Russian Mob and Hare Krishnas. Earn your respect with each gang. Reap the benefits with all manner of shady work-for-hire gigs contracted your way. And climb your way to the top of the criminal pile.

Babylon 5 I've Found Her:

If you like Freespace and similar games this is right down your alley. Probably the highest quality freeware game I have ever seen! And the fact that it's set in the Babylon 5 setting can only make it better. Anyway, if you like this sort of game you should not miss out!
