Guest Anonymous
before i started a new game i didnt know that there is a 1.2 patch (i bought it just a week ago) and i also thought that "custom game" button in main menu gives you opportunity to add a mod to your game before starting it. so i chose the mods headshot should kill and improved backstab, then started a new game with axis on normal difficulty. i played 2 missions and lots of random encounters, but headshots performed by my sniper (me) done usually 32 dmg (and 64 if its a critical hit) so they dont really kill in 1 shot ever... only if i'm lucky then in 2 shots, and hit probability to the head was about like this: if hit probability without aiming to a certain bodypart was 88%, then to the torso was about also 88%, to the legs 60% and to the head 40%. also i havent noticed anything special about backstabbing. yesterday i downloaded the 1.2 patch, saved my game in global map, applied the patch and searched for a random encounter in the region of the third mission (escorting the general to that town). i found 1, entered, and got my sniper to aim at the head of the E sniper on the guard tower. the hit probability without aiming to a bodypart was 80%, to the torso was 60% legs were 30% and head was 4%. i thought something was wrong, so i got my sniper to aim with 39 AP then quicksaved then got him to try to shoot the enemy snipers head a couple of times. when i finally succeeded it done a damage of 124 and sent the enemy sniper flying backwards out of the tower. i didnt like the way it workd, so i quicksaved exited to menu changed custom game options to remove improved backstab and headshot should kill, applyed quickloaded and it didnt change. i exited and saw in custom game options improved backstab and headshot should kill mods are still on. if you arent tired of reading by now then you are getting paid for it. is there any way to disable those mods or atlist get aiming to bodyparts as it was before? kermix
Saved games include applied mods. Exit, disable mods, and start new campaign instead of quickloading.
