Biggles Posted October 29, 2003 Report Share Posted October 29, 2003 I had problems running the setup on my last PC (I just did a re-install) It turned out that I was already running SQL server because of other stuff I had installed on my PC. If that is the case you may need to put in the right settings for the database location and stuff to get the editor to work. This is just a guess.. Biggles Posted October 30, 2003 Report Share Posted October 30, 2003 Yes, I re-installed my O/S , but not for Silent Storm, that was just a co-incidence. I had other big problems with a new sound card (the drivers weren't sticking, it kept forgetting the card was installed) So I did an O/S re-install. BUT .. I haven't tried the editor yet because it is the russian version. I can't offer any advice until I have had a chance to try the English verion which, with any luck, should arrive sometime early next week. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
