No, not at all. It's our job to help. And recovering a lost mod is always satisfying too. :)

A few dozen make a better case for refining that third decimal place.

Sorry, Pete couldn't revive it. But all is not yet lost. We still have some options left. :)

I tried to learn how to make it, but the biomass part in sigget's tutorial is missing, and i can't learn from trial and error cause i can't see the biomass behavior...
I tryed setting every biomass keyed number to 0 in my profile vfs and tested it fast forwarding time but it didnt work. I also tryed to modify the textures (gamedata.vfs) but i still can't see it :)
Maybe some1 can give me some hints on how to make a mod for this :)

Thanks for helping me!

After recieving a message from Zombie and his ongoing quest in recovering this mod I decided to try a build it from scratch. But it has to be tested to verify that it works. Basically, if you go over 18 bases or complete the Reticulan Interrogation and you DON'T get any message about the biomass then it should of worked.

Here's the mod: http://www.strategyc...files/?dlid=480
There's always some dirt to dig out

I know necro thread and whatnot, but I was thinking about getting this mod, I just wonder: how are you then able to beat the game? Inst the biomass the major plot point or something? I would have liked a mod that slowed down the spread of the biomass instead of totally removing it. You know, instead of taking just days or weeks to cover the planet, it should take months or even years to do. Also, does the biomass still grow after I put the mod in or will it stop growing?

No need mods. The vanilia game uses special research bases to slow the biomass.

Yeah but it is sometimes tricky to obtain it. I had sometimes problems getting the mission in the biomass before she ate some of the bases. But in general biomass isn't that problem
