ALPine 2.8 Released

Major changes in this version:

This is mostly changes to the way the Lua code works, the parsers are structured better now and there's less repeated code. ALPine also handles the listoftechno.txt file in a more reliable manner to help future proof it.

 

Two changes players might notice are:

ALPine will sort plugins alphabetically by file name on its first run. I think a few people might have been having problems where the Mod Wrapper wasn't at the top of the list by default, this will now be the case. This will only happen if you don't already have ALPine installed.

 

Less console windows appearing in GUI. There are still a few, I'll hopefully be able to eliminate most/all of the rest in the next few releases, unless there's some major problem in doing so.

 

 

I recommend uninstalling ALPine if you currently have it installed before you install the new version. It'll probably work if you just install the new version over the old, but I haven't tried it and I don't know how it would affect the uninstall process at a later date.
