Patching X-com/UFO Dos

Just a thought.

 

there are two releases of the dos version of UFO... the US Xcom and the EU UFO.

 

UFO was release in advance of Xcom and had 2 patches(1.1 and 1.2) released when Xcom was release... then a final patch was release that was for both games..

 

So if you have the version 1.0 or 1.1 of UFO you need to patch to version UFO 1.2 befor applying the Xcom 1.4 patch or you will still have some map and alien stat bugs..

 

if you have Xcom 1.0 you only have one patch, version 1.4.
