Dieter Hafner Posted April 17, 2003 Report Share Posted April 17, 2003 Okay, I'm sure people have had and solved this problem before, but.. I got X-Com Apoc with the Collector's Edition pack. I installed X-Com Apoc on my computer, which is overqualified in every aspect. Installer works fine, everything goes in. When I try to run the game, though, either nothing appears, or the intro FMV moves like molasses. I push the Enter key, only to have the game crash and end up with an error message somewhat like this: The SVGA card did not respond/is not there.A critical error has forced this game to a halt. Any ideas on how to fix this? I'd really like to try this game out. EDIT: I just found the patch on the site. Man I feel stupid. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Ki-tat Chung Posted April 30, 2003 Report Share Posted April 30, 2003 :: waves :: yes! right here! its not the patch. its the game. i remember someone here complaining about going into missions and the screen going blank without the SVGA patch. meaning apoc runs fine on their pc, except 4 the missions.
