sound cards

:D ok this is my first post and from it you will most prob think im a un-knowing little kid but hey i wouldent say that ive played ufo enemy unknown on my last 3 pc's i have ahd the what to play it since i upgraded my pc but i couldnt find the disk, i have now found it but i have a creative geforce 2 ti wit the probs of the screen which go along with it but i will try what every1 else has posted to fix it i just have the prob of sound i have a creative audigy player sound card but i dont know how to set up the sound for it any help is more than welcome ;)

If the sound effects are not working in the dos version, then your sound card probably hasn't got any dos compatible sound drivers installed. I know mine hasn't.

 

Just to be sure, you might want to try running some other dos games and see if they have any sound at all.

 

If you're using a NT based machine, you might want to check out the following website for sound emulation under dos:

Wish there was a version for win9x machines...
