Jagged Alliance Total Conversion with the Silent Storm engine ?

I'm a big fan of Silent Storm and above all of Sentinels. With its graphic engine that allows a complete destruction of environments and structures that create strategic advantages with epic and fun moments with it, and I also love the feature in Sentinels that allowed you to set your difficulty as you wish (I played it with a Realistic a very accurate shot and you're dead and this was also true for you). Having seen that the creators of Jagged Alliance 3 wanted to use this engine in the third installment of the JA series (Another series that I like ) but as you well know the game was canceled and turned into the disappointing "Back In Action" without having those features that made the game interesting and, unfortunately even the recent and somewhat disappointing Flashback developed by Full Control did not have a similar feature in that game.

 

Now, I saw in this community is showing some pretty interesting mods for Silent Storm particularly the new models for weapons, new uniforms, models and new campaigns (still in development) and I thought what if they gonna make a total conversion of Jagged Alliance with the engine and assets of Silent Storm ?

 

I know that maybe this is not completely possible due to the limitations of the engine and possible copyright violations, but if it were possible to realize it or not, do you think it could be done? What can you do to achieve with this engine ?

 

Is it possible to bring modern weapons into that engine? Can the characters of the series be recreated? Can you create contemporary objects or structures? I'm not asking you to make a Jagged Alliance 3 with the ideas of the original developers but I'm wondering from you: Do you think it's possible to create something like this ?
