Sharing some sights - from those 0,003% - again.

A ringed Earth-like world. Not a unique find, but a rarity.

A brown dwarf with lots and lots of rings.

A moon, a planet and a planetary nebula (in that order).

https://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b348/SpaceVoyager/Za%20net/Elite/Screenshot_0076_zpsivoatlrd.png

Inside the nebula.

Nearing the centre, Sagittarius A*. Viewing the map with most stars hidden.

That same view, with all stars seen. Quite crowded.

Finally there! It was feeling like an accomplishment until I jumped to the tourist beacon... Suddenly space was filled with tourist ships and their crappy chatter about their ship being the best. Very anticlimactic. I was glad to leave.

Really, hard to tell the difference between a super black hole and any other as there is little reference.

A nice ammonia world.

A random view.

Another one.

Trying out Anaconda, one of the three big ships. It was too cumbersome for my taste so it was turned into a warship and left behind. Before it was left behind, it made for this nice view with a random nice looking gas giant that conveys some sense of scale.

The ship gets a new look. Called a "Raider" skin, I got it for its scrapheap challenge feel.

Another random.

I'll save some for later.

"A nice ammonia world" he says - now there's an oxymoron. You've no doubt skipped landing on it! tongue.png

I like those two random snaps, particularly the one with the "sun" peeking behind other celestial bodies and a planetary surface with structures at the forefront. cool.png

That "Raider" ship of yours is probably a sign you've been watching a tad much Mad Max, SV. Will definitely turn heads though, certainly amid all the shiny tourist ships. wink.png

Exploration is put into perspective by that image of Sagittarius A* with all the stars. Plenty of sightseeing to be had still!

True, a lot has been added.

I have to say that destroying a Thargoid (the alien) was one of the best gaming moments I've ever had. Finally I managed to get into a 4 member wing. Two engineered Corvettes, my engineered Anaconda and a Python. We tried once, went for repairs, regrouped and went again. The second time it looked like we'll have to stop at the last heart but the Python pilot, who couldn't compete with the rest as far as soaking up damage goes and held back a bit, didn't leave the instance. He flew around avoiding destruction and the rest of us went for repairs. We didn't even know at first, I thought that was the end but suddenly the wing question arrives 'Are you guys coming back?', so we all went for quickest repairs ever and went back in. Taking down the Thargoid really felt like an accomplishment and teamwork.

Also revealed a good tactics with one wing member holding back and later holding place.

There was also a sad moment when Python pilot was interdicted by a CMDR trying to take advantage of his ship's sad state after the first try but luckily he got out alive and managed to repair his ship.
