Trying to remember game name.

Back in 1998-2000 or so i seen someone playing strategy game where you fly in space with your ship or fleet and then land on planet and start building up there and fighting i think it was RTS. Fully 3d.

 

The space flyig part could be my imagination though, but for sure you chose pklanet to land on and conquer. i think each mission is a different planet.

 

Seeing Planetary Annihilation trailer made me think of this game. Can someone help me find it?

 

Also it was not any major title game. Not star twars empire at war for sure.

I may be way off as I never played that game but if Planetary Annihilation gives you flashbacks, it may be the main source of its inspiration...

Uh no, Total Annihilation wasn't 3D.

Ah, good game, that one. Ground combat and all. Sadly IG3 never saw the light of day.
