Hi im a complete and total noob, but I've wondered is it possible to change the armor values for any of the given pieces of armor within the game for x-com 3 apocalypse? perhaps there is an editor floating around somewhere? thanks a lot.

Sorry for the late reply,

You can download my editor here: http://www.strategycore.co.uk/files/index.php?dlid=642. It allows armor editing (note that you have to edit two fields though, one in the Agent Equipment 1 section and one in the agent equipment 2 section!)

Hey, j'ordos. Do you have a data dump of the armor values anywhere? Seems to me the armor values might be stored in the executable somewhere (like it is for EU and TFTD). I tried searching for them one time but came up empty-handed because I didn't know the order. blush.gif

I'm slightly confused: I already found the armor ratings, or am I missing your point here?
The order is Megapol leg -> body -> left arm -> right arm -> head -> Marsec leg -> ... -> Xcom leg -> ...

one part (agent equipment 1 in apoc'd, the 'actual' armor rating, only visible in the battlescape) is located at offsets 1686242 - 1686512 (UFO2P.EXE, decimal, non MS edit offsets smile.gif )
each record is 18 bytes long. Armor rating should be byte 14.

the second part (agent equipment 2, the 'maximum' armor rating, if you only edit this one your armor parts will show up 'damaged' to their original value) is located at offsets 1684436 - 1684586 (idem)
each record is 10 bytes long. Armor rating should be byte 5.
