Hi there guys, I was wondering if there were any more UFO games in the making, similar to the aftershock/aftermath/afterlight genre.

No official announcements, no. There will probably not be a new game in the After series from ALTAR anytime soon, and I don't know about Chaos Concept (Extraterrestrials). There has been rumours that Irrational (part of EA now) is working on a new X-COM game, but this is just a rumour for now. Regardless, I see it as unlikely that we'll get anything similar to the first X-COM games if they do.
Therefore, as it is at the moment, I know of no new UFO games in development. We have a very exciting announcement coming related to UFO though, so all hope is not lost

I'm sure it would show up here as soon as it was announced. I'm hoping that rumor about Irrational Games is true. I just hope it's not a Fallout 3 type situation where the new game has zero regard for the gameplay of the originals. Fallout 3 makes baby jeebus cry.
