Hi folks,
I'm here now with the unconscious Mr. Berger on my shoulders and want to leave the pounding press room. But this metall bar door won't open. I have tried a lot, but haven't managed until now. I want to move on! Please help me! I have S2 v1.1. Unfortunaltely I'm not able to install the patch v1.2. It doesn't work. Many thanks in advande! Micha |

This is taken from a walkthrough at GameFAQs:
QUOTE The only time it gets hard is when you meet the boss [i] over in the foundry area. Take 1 or 2 beam PKs in there--the bars will raise, sealing you in there. You will have to kill him pick up his body, and walk it through the pounding presses. To do this, first climb over via the ladders, and hit the switch in the corner of the room to turn off the fires. You can then walk through--if you time it right. Then, pick up the body and enter combat. You should be able to walk through one of the open gaps. Before leaving the press area, make sure to go up to the office overlooking it, to grab a clue [i]. Then, proceed to the exit with the body. The door is really stubborn about figuring out if you're 'near enough' to exit. Keep trying. Moving around the person carrying the body seems to help. Micha ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hi There was this posted on S2 / S3 / H&S Support/ Berger's Factory (Spoilers) by Kizmiaz(clever name that one), -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Extra! Extra! Read all about it! So I rummaged through my harddrive and found an old savegame just before Rainer B. himself! Anyway, there is a switch that opens the bars. Problem is it's kinda hidden. It's located on the left wall "after" the presses, in the same area as Berger resides. It's only marked by a faint red lamp and when you hover the mouse above it, it will show the "open door" icon. Which it does. There is also an insanely lot of patch calculation in that area. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I will try this one. Got stuck in the same spot
