EDIT: Problems have been fixed.
Question tho...how would I go about using some of the xcomutil effects w/o using xcomutil? Such as, making it so all battles are fought in daytime, equipment memorized, etc? And can it be done without splitting the EXE? My game seems to have issues unless I use the original single exe. -------------------- "When the sword becomes a burden, let the warrior lay it aside so another with a truer heart my take it up." -Radiant, Archangel

It would be possible to make those changes only if some one modifies the windows exe to change the way it saves missdat data. Otherwise the split exe is the only way to put a hook in to make the changes. The split of the exe works on an unmodified version of the game. but if your using one of the various hevaly changed versions of the executable, it may brake it. -Blade FireLight -------------------- QUOTE Combat is very simple, there is a first place and second place, second place is laying face down in the mud, sometimes, so is first place. |

You might have better luck if you try my UFO EXE splitter instead. It doesn't do anything fancy, in fact for all I know it uses the exact same process XcomUtil does (I aimed to copy the results), but it might just work.
Depends on what "issues" is supposed to mean, I suppose. -------------------- |
