To extend this topic, I want to say good bye here too. After ASs "release" (*cough* beta *cough*) I left here too, butI did try returning (twice actually) as you might remember. Sadly, I just couldn't get myself interested in this site/community again, so I want to make a "real good bye" as I think you deserve it. I might return some time here, but really, I doubt that. I will probably post something here once in a while, but I will for the most part be gone...
So, good bye to everyone here, and good luck with keeping the site alive (hint: Choose a few more games as "site features"). GOOD BYE! /me hugs everyone |

I think we were all dissapointed with the number of bugs that are still in UFO: Aftershock, and I can understand if that means you want to see how Afterlight turns out before you decide whether to buy it. Remember that you'll have more problems with a warez version than a legal copy. One positive aspect of the problems with Aftershock is that ALTAR have admitted that mistakes were made, so hopefully they will have learned from them. One game I brought has a massive bug with the AI that renders it useless, several features that were deliberatly crippled so they can sell us an expansion pack, and developers that refused to acknowledge the concept that their game is as buggy as a jam sandwich at a picnic. I hope to see you around here again one day. |
