I just posted a reply in the "Cheating" thread on Off Topic. The quote tags failed to work, and when I tried to edit the message, it double posted. I did not reply a second time, I am certain I clicked "edit" because the box at the bottom said "modify".

Sounds like the database did a brainfart. I shall take a look
 Okay, duplicate post deleted. Try the quote tag in capitals? Shouldn't make a difference. Might just be something that's not ticked in the aCP for that forum that may be causing it but I doubt it... --------------------   |

It was simply too long for the forum software to handle Bob. Split your posts in the future please

Last I saw, if you made a post that was too long the forum soft would simply refuse to post it... Of course, that was on the old boards.

Thanks Slaughter, I'll be sure to watch my postage length next time.
Strange though, in the old boards I posted roleplays in XCAS that were slightly larger than that one. I never got any error messages or had them denied. Maybe there are two caps? Too many characters and the tags stop working... Too much more and the whole post goes THPPT! I dunno. I am also baffled about the "Modify Post" thingy posting an extra reply. But I am not the forum expert here.
