Since the inception of this site, the intention was always to expand. Much discussion has taken place on what to do, how to do it, when to do it, etc. For the past few weeks or so, the admins here finally settled upon a structure which hopefully everyone could be happy with. Today I implemented the reorganization scheme.

For starters, the General Game Discussion forum has been moved out of Off-Topic and placed in a more conspicuous location in the StrategyCore category. We hope this makes it easier to find and post about your favorite (or not so favorite) games. The Special Projects Department (which was previously in the StrategyCore section) now has it's own main category on the forums between StrategyCore and X-COM. Note to X-COM forum vets: you need to scroll down one more category to get to the one you are after! Also, each of the project's news sections has been eliminated and merged into a single news topic. This will allow us to easily parse the news to the site which can only help these projects.

Change is a double-edged sword. On one hand, some people would prefer it if the forums always maintained the status quo. On the other hand, you need to update things every once and a while to breathe new life into areas and grow. It'll take some getting used to, but we think this change is for the better.
