Hi everyone.
ACM is a conversion mod that introduces a lot of changes into original UFO AS gameplay. The main features of ACM are: 1. new items: - pistols: glock 19, usp - smgs: mac10, ump45, fn p90 - shotguns: usas (replaces spas-15), striker - assault rifles: famas, g3ka4, fn fal, scar-l, scar-h - sniper rifles: sks, m14, r700, svd (replaces msg), l96 - machineguns: rpk, m249, pkp pecheneg (replaces pkm) - launchers: rg6 grenade launcher, m202 missile launcher - commando-only weapons: dartgun, advanced airgun, mp5sd6, groza, hk g11, vss sniper rifle - melee weapons: chainsword, powersword - energy weapons: laser cannon, plasma pistol (replaces plasma shotgun), plasma cannon, sonic rifle (replaces ultrasonic gun), sonic cannon - new powerful gauss weapons: pistol, rifle, cannon and sniper rifle - new grenades, mines and missiles: plasma, warp, 40mm flashbang, 40mm poison, 40mm sonic, plasma and warp missiles and mines. - new cyborg-only weapons: browning h2, miningun, gatling laser, hyper plasma cannon, gauss minigun, AGL grenade launcher, mortar. - completely reworked drone weapons: m249, m60, energy cannons, gauss cannon, AGL grenade launcher, mortar, m202D launcher, gatling laser, hyperplasma cannon, gauss minigun. - cultists hybrid weapons: laser rifle (based on Reticulan weapon), plasma rifle (based on Wargot weapon), warp rifle (based on Reticulan weapon). - all wargot infantry weapons can be used, but only by cyborgs. - ammo: .44 mag (for desert eagle), .45acp, ammo for new commando weapons. - darts for airguns: stunning, poison, paralyze - new items: underbarell scanners, stimulant injector addons. 2. techtree was reworked to increase time which player needs to get basic firearms, grenades and other advanced weapons. 3. replaced models for ALL human weapons. New textures for laputian, local humans and cultist armors. 4. new firing sounds and projectile effects. 5. factions use all new weapons, cultists can be accompanied by drones, their cyborgs use wargot weapons and heavy weapons. Factions squads were increased a bit. 6. reworked experience. Soldiers now gain experience mainly for killing enemies rather than simply participating in mission. 7. militia barracks were reconfigured. You can now use three types of barracks - basic (firearms, gauss), energy (laser, sonic, plasma, warp) and support (snipers, machineguns and launchers). There is also a new type of building - drone hangars. These "train" up to 2 drone as militia. Current version is ACM 1.4. This is an updated release version. Archive: http://www.okim.nickersonm.com/ufo/acm-14.zip (~76mb) What`s inside: - scope mounts were divided by 4 groups: simple (mp5, mp5sd6, p90, ump, usas, striker), classic (colt 9mm, spas12, famas, most of the energy weapons), advanced (most assault rifles and machineguns, m14, sks), sniper (all sniper weapons including energy and barretts). Scopes were divided into 3 categories: combat scopes (simple, classic and advanced mounts), advanced scopes (classic, advanced and sniper), sniper scopes (advanced and sniper mounts). Advanced scopes include thermal sight and movement finder. This way it is possible to equip AKM or M4 with a sniper scope, SVD or SR25 with a thermal scope, mp5 and usas only with combat scopes while colt and spas12 with movement finders and thermal scopes. - reduced both bh2 machineguns (brownings) accuracy from 55-60 to 35-45. - modified ammo capacity per ammo box: .45, 9mm, 4.7mm -> 50 bullets 7.62, 7.62 nato, 5.56, 6mm bolts, wargot bolts -> 30 bullets 9x39 -> 40 bullets - changed warp principles research requirements. It now requires any warp weapon be it human, reticulan or hybrid. - added explosive bolts for gauss weapons. - increased SKS fire and bayonet damage. - increased m14 recoil. For other changes/fixes please refer to ACM readme file. Installation: Archive includes an acmod.vfs file and localization folder. PLEASE backup this folder before installing ACM. The mod is INCOMPATIBLE with any other mod, sorry for that. Place both file and folder into your UFO AS folder. ENJOY. And report any bugs and wierdness you WILL encounter -------------------- |
