This version not only includes Research Help from Captives in TFTD and an improved Combine Clips algorithm, but it fixes a number of install problems that have been encountered on Windows XP. The most important addition is support for TFTD packages that use "terror.exe" instead of "terror from the deep.exe". This difference from the version released in the XCOM Collector's Edition was enough to cause the wrong patches to be applied to the game.

XcomUtil 9.40 can be downloaded from the XcomUtil Homepage. If you still have problems with the new split executables for the Windows version of TFTD, XcomUtil 9.20 is once more available for download.

Combat is very simple, there is a first place and second place, second place is laying face down in the mud, sometimes, so is first place.
