I've been looking everywhere to try and find an editor that I can use for the Soldiers. I really only want to change names and backgrounds (doubt that looks customization is even attainable). I like playing games where I can make my own character or at least have myself in the game. Anyone know of any such editor for Afterlight?

Nothing of the like exists so far. Changes to the names and nicks should be doable with a mod, but the backgrounds I believe are kept inside the localization.vfs file. It's doable, but it requires that you keep a backup of that file if you want to revert the changes, while in the case of the mod you would simply remove it without touching any of the key files.

I've never modded before, so I doubt I could do it. But changing the names would be great. Even if i can't though, I'm enjoying the game.. I have Aftermath and Aftershock also, but I dunno if they are any good compared to Afterlight, which I have been having a lot of fun playing.
